The Lady Speaks

Hear That?

That's the sound of a scream reverberating throughout the blogosphere…to the tune of party music on the other side.

Karl Rove is not going to be indicted in the Plame case.

Top White House aide Karl Rove has been told by prosecutors he won’t be charged with any crimes in the investigation into leak of a CIA officer's identity, his lawyer said Tuesday.

Attorney Robert Luskin said that special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald informed him of the decision on Monday, ending months of speculation about the fate of one of President Bush’s closest advisers. Rove testified five times before a grand jury.

So, on top of the endless gloating of the Bush supporters and the 24/7 news coverage – which will be more gloating, but from the media shills – I just have one question.

When will Jason Leopold reveal's thoroughly discredited "sources"?

  1. The question is a good one…:>) Rove will not be charged for outing Plame but is there still something in the basket? Perjury?

  2. I’ve noticed quite a few sites, including FDL, suggesting that Karl did a Tweety-Bird in return for immunity. Which makes sense to me – Karl rolls to protect his buddy George and leaves the VP to hang.
