Of all the silly things to spend money on - you might as well open the window and throw it onto the street. I think every other sentence out of my mouth this week has been, "Well, I guess they'll learn eventually..." Of course, having been deprived of it at home, the first thing he did - before calling the electric or water companies or getting extra keys made - was ordering cable service. Last night he told me he's averaging 5 hours of sleep as a result. *sigh* I tried the tough love thing Tuesday when they stopped by hoping to score some dinner (which I now make 2 hours earlier, as it's only me eating): "Well, honey, sorry you don't have food, guess you'll budget for that from now on, eh?" But I was out-voted by <i><b>The Gramma</b></i> who was <b>much</b> meaner before she had grandbabies. Interesting... yes, it has been that.
